Terms
A demonstration site cannot sell you anything, so most of what a terms page usually contains would be theatre. Here is what is true instead.
What this site is
A demonstration of a website for a translation office, built to show what one can look like. Woodside Translation, LLC is an invented business. It has no premises, no staff, no telephone and no clients, the five people described on the team page do not exist, and no document sent here reaches anybody.
What an estimate here is not
An estimate is arithmetic on what you typed. It is not an offer, it does not bind anybody, and it will move if the document turns out to be longer, in worse condition or a different thing from what it was described as. The quote that follows somebody reading it is the one to rely on.
The rates it works from are published on the rate card and every figure the site prints comes from them. On a real site those would be a genuine offer to do work at a stated price. Here they are numbers in a demonstration, and pressing send does not form an agreement with anybody, because there is nobody on the other end of it to agree.
What is on the pages
The explanatory pages describe how certification, notarisation, apostilles and sworn status abroad generally work. They are written to be accurate and they are not advice about your case. Nothing on this site is legal or immigration advice and nobody here may give you any. We can describe what a document is and what offices have usually asked for; we cannot tell you what to file, what your case needs, or what a document means for you.
Where a page says what an office or an authority usually asks for, that is a description of what usually happens rather than a statement about what will happen to you. Rules change, offices differ, and the office that wrote to you is the one to ask.
The pictures and the words
Every photograph on this site was generated. No real person appears anywhere on it, and no image shows a real document: everything that looks like a certificate, a stamp or a register entry is invented, unreadable at any size, and belongs to nobody. There is a page about how they were made and why that decision was taken.
The text on this site was written for it. The company name, the mark and the pages are part of a demonstration built by a web design studio, and the footer says which one.
Links away from here
Where this site refers to a court, a consulate, an authority or a professional body, it does so descriptively. It is not connected to any of them, none of them has endorsed anything here, and nothing on this site is issued, approved or recognised by anybody.
Nobody is on the other end of this. This is a demonstration website. Woodside Translation is not a real translation company, nobody answers the telephone number on this site, no document sent here is read by anybody, and no estimate produced here is an offer. If you have a filing deadline or a document that has to be accepted by an agency, a court or a consulate, please instruct a real translation company.
